wine

## Lexicon entries here

- [VIN](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/VIN/index.md>): wayn 'wine'. Probable.

## Remarks

A clay nodule from Phaistos, from the Middle Minoan II archives, among the earliest objects written in Linear A: one sign, VIN, “wine”, labelling what was sealed. The record gives only a nodule; the stand-in is a small lump of clay with a seal pressed into one face and the sign scratched on the other, and the seal's design, the lump's shape and its size are its own. Generated stand-in, not a scan: the shape follows the published description, the sign layout is approximate.

## 3D model

Created at Plasma AI. Template model generated in the browser; texts after the project dossier and GORILA. Glyphs: Noto Sans Linear A (OFL), re-cut stroke by stroke.
