## Commentary

ZA 15a .7 *363-KE-MA-SE 5, the last entry of the wine issue headed *47-KU-NA, after SA-MI-DA-E 4 (GORILA III 183). Intact, no dots. *363 at its proposed value SO: so-ke-ma writes škm, the Hebrew and Akkadian reflex of PS *ṯkm; the rival value ṮA gives the same root. Shechem is Skmimi of the Execration Texts (Brussels E6; Streit 2017, 63). -SE as on RU-MA-TA-SE beside bare RU-MA-TA, and on MI-ZA-SE on the same face: town and gentilic, as Šǝkem and šikmî. Rival: the Amorite name Šakim (ŠA-KI-MU-UM; Gelb 1980, no. 5804). Weak point: SigLA reads the sign A364, which Melena sets beside Linear B so and do (Melena 2014, 85–86); its value is unresolved.

## In the onomasticon

- [\*363-KE-MA-SE](<https://linear-a.ai/names/*363-KE-MA-SE/index.md>): Gentilic, Semitic
