## Commentary

Hapax heading on the roundel HT Wc 3024. Mimated form of A-RA-TU (ZA 7a). Feminine mimation is the Proto-Semitic nonbound singular, *ṭāb-at-u-m (Huehnergard 2019, 59–60, Table 3.7), kept in Akk. erṣetum 'earth' (CAD E 308), Amorite a-še-ra-tum and ḫa-na-tum (George and Krebernik 2022, 131), and the names Ḥananatum, Ḥayyatum (Gelb 1980, nos. 477, 1809). The corpus's only feminine with mimation; masculine singulars take it rarely too (RI-SU-MA, MA-RU-ME). A roundel is a sealed receipt, and its heading names the item in citation form, where mimation stands. See A-RE-TU-MI.
