## Commentary

HT 98b .2 DA-RU-NE-TE 1/10, after ]VIN ¾ (GORILA I 161); face a lists TA-NA-TI ¾. DA-RU dāru 'lasting' (PS *dawr-), as DA-RU-*329 Dārum and Amorite Šumī-dāru 'my name is lasting' (Buck 2018, 349); -NE-TE ʿAnat (PS *ʕanat-), as Šum-Anati and Abdi-Anati at Ugarit (Kinlaw 1967, 111, 7). Anat is NA-TA in I-NA-TA-I and NA-TI on face a: the lost ʿa- and the e of -NE-TE are unexplained. Rivals: Dūr-ʿAnat 'Wall of Anat', as Ili-dūri 'my god is my wall' (de Boer 2014, 351) and the town Dūr-Addu (MTT I/1, s.v. Dūr-Addu); Egyptian Neith (n.t), as sꜣ-n.t 'son of Neith', wsr-n.t 'Neith is powerful' (Ilin-Tomich 2025, s.v. n.t). One attestation.
