## Commentary

IO Za 6, position 2. The vessel is chipped, but the complete group I-NA-TA-I-ZU-DI-SI-KA has no internal lacuna. Segmented I-NA-TA-I + ZU-DI + SI-KA, 'my Anat, Breast-Who-Gives-Drink.' Initial I carries the laryngeal ʿ, not a separate particle: Ugaritic has three vowel-conditioned aleph signs (Huehnergard 2012, 21), and syllabic Ugaritic writes ᵈa-na-tu₄ for /ʿanatu/ and ša-i for /šāʿi/ (Huehnergard 2008, 18 n. 78, 208, 249). Final I is the 1cs suffix -ī. IO Za 8 ]A-NA-TI-*301-WA-JA[ is broken at both edges. See TA-NA-I-*301-U-TI-NU, DA-RU-NE-TE, KA-KU-NE-TE.
