HT 7a .2 I-RU-JA 3, all three signs whole and undotted, the first entry under .1 QE-TI · VIR+[?], before DU-JA 4 (GORILA I 15). Nuzi Iruja, I-ru-ia, var. E-ru-ú-ia, I-ru-ú-ia: the son of Ziqaya bears both Iruja and Irup-tešup, and the element list gives iruja as the 'Hypocoristic for Irup-tešup' (Gelb, Purves, and MacRae 1943, s.v. IRUJA, IRUP-TEŠUP; 220). The element ir- is Hurrian; Speiser's gloss 'aid' is uncertain (ibid., 220). I-ru-ia gives I-RU-JA sign for sign. One attestation.
