## Commentary

KN Zf 31, a silver pin, first line, between DA-DU-MI-NE and A-WA-PI; whole and undotted (GORILA IV 155). QA-MI qāmī 'who stands', the opener of Qawmī-ʾIl. *47 = so writes šū, as in *47-NU-RA-JA Šū-nūraya (HT 115a); so for šū is a vowel mismatch only. NA-RA nār 'fire' against NU-RA nūr 'light' on HT 115a, the Arabic pair. Standing, fire and shining forth are the theophany's: yāqûm ʾĕlōhîm 'God arises' (Ps 68:2); ʾĕlōhîm hôpîaʿ … ʾēš lə-pānāyw tōʾkēl 'God shone forth … fire devours before him' (Ps 50:2–3), and A-WA-PI 'he shone forth' follows. The same pin writes SU in TE-SU-DE-SE-KE-I. Rival: *47 = mo, manāra 'lampstand' (Ug. mnrt, DULAT 558). One attestation. See *47-KU-NA.
