## Commentary

HT 91 TE-RI · OLE+MI ≈¹⁄₆, E 3, a second allocation after I-KA's closes with E 5; ARKH 6 DA-NA-TU · KU / TE-RI; PH(?) 31b TE-RI *21M[ 1, among names that each receive a ram. tēri 'attendant, courtier', Akk. tīru A (tēru), 'a member of the palace or temple staff', written te-i-rum (CAD T 429): an Old Akkadian survey totals '27 court attendants', and the tīr bīti draws rations (CT 45 85:6, OB). TE writes the ē of tēru. Weak point: tīru is Akkadian, with no West Semitic cognate. Three attestations.
