## Commentary

Entity/name status is supported by the repeated counted form on HT103 and DA-KU-SE-NE-TI on HT104. Exact Dakušenni is not attested at Nuzi. The closest full compound is Boğazköy Tagu(b)-šini (KBo XXII 114, 7; Laroche 1980, 250), whose tagu- has the u of DA-KU. Nuzi Aku-šenni, Takku, and Takuja and Ugaritic Taki-šenni support a cautious /Takušenni/ comparison, not an exact identification (Gelb, Purves, and MacRae 1943; Tropper 2000 §32.144.35).
