HT 117a .8–9, after DA-MI-NU 1 in the SA-TA list (GORILA I 197). ḏā 'the one of' + naquddi 'speckled' (Heb. nəquddîm, Gen 30:39): 'He of the speckled (flock)'; Ugaritic ksp d nqdm (KTU 4.369:8). Rival: nāqidi 'head shepherd' (DULAT 630).
