## Translation

- Tier: Speculative
- Status: incomplete

[…] RE 4[; […] TA 4. Total 129. ʾArāyu 123.

## Word by word

| Word | Reading | Gloss | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| [KU-RO](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/KU-RO/index.md>) | kull | total | Confirmed |
| [A-RA-JU](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/A-RA-JU/index.md>) | ʾArāyu | ʾArāyu, a town of the kingdom of Ugarit (toponym), 123; rival Aralu | Speculative |

## Commentary

Top and left edge broken (GORILA I 176–177). .1 ]RE 4[ and .2 ]TA 4 keep only their last sign; .3 ]KU-RO 129 totals the lost entries, and .4 ]A-RA-JU 123 follows the total, starting at the same margin. With JU = yu, A-RA-JU spells ᵘʳᵘA-ra-yu, Ugaritic ary (RGTC 12/2, 30); rival Aralu under JU = lu, nearest Alalaḫ (RGTC 12/2, 8). Remains incomplete: the entries above the total are lost.

## Epigraphic note

GORILA I 177: lines 3–4 open on the broken left edge (]KU-RO 129, ]A-RA-JU 123); the start of either word may be lost.
