## Word by word

| Word | Reading | Gloss | Tier |
|---|---|---|---|
| [\*21F-TU-NE](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/*21F-TU-NE/index.md>) | hatune | bridegroom/in-law category (heading) | Candidate |
| [KU-RE-JU](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/KU-RE-JU/index.md>) | Kulelu | personal name | Candidate |
| [DI-KI-SE](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/DI-KI-SE/index.md>) | Dikise | personal name; possibly Hurrian | Candidate |

## Commentary

Context: intact LM IB two-entry roster. HT87 repeats the *21F-TU-NE rubric and DI-KI-SE, while HT7b carries the same rubric with a count; the following entries are therefore most plausibly persons. Kulelu has an external formal parallel in Middle Assyrian Kulilu at Tell Sabi Abyad, but its etymology remains unproved. Dikise may be related to directly attested Hurrian tagiše/tegiše 'beautiful' or 'beauty' and the personal name Tagi; the name itself remains untranslated.

## Epigraphic note

Intact LM IB two-entry roster. *21F-TU-NE is a probable bridegroom/in-law rubric (√ḫ-t-n); cuneiform ha-tu₂-nu /hatunu/ is a close but later spelling parallel. KU-RE-JU occupies a personal-name slot and compares formally with Middle Assyrian Kulilu, written ki-li-lu at Tell Sabi Abyad, without proving identity or etymology. DI-KI-SE is another personal name, possibly related to Hurrian tagiše/tegiše 'beautiful' or 'beauty'; it remains untranslated.

## Lexicon entries
