## Commentary

The stone vessel is chipped, but the written sequence is complete: all three groups and their dividers survive, with no lacuna inside I-NA-TA-I-ZU-DI-SI-KA. The middle group is tentatively segmented I-NA-TA-I + ZU-DI + SI-KA, a theonym followed by a compound epithet. Ugaritic supplies the orthographic controls: three vowel-conditioned aleph signs (Huehnergard 2012, 21), syllabic ᵈa-na-tu₄ = /ʿanatu/, and ša-i = /šāʿi/ (Huehnergard 2008, 18 n. 78, 208, 249). Together these permit—but do not prove—a laryngeal-bearing initial I; final I is read as 1cs -ī. Ugaritic btlt ʿnt 'the young woman Anat' (KTU 1.3 III 11) and Middle Babylonian Ištar-ṣēri provide deity-plus-epithet controls. The rival segmentation with bare I-NA as a presentative remains possible but is less economical in this complete 2fs-verb + addressee context.

## Lexicon entries

- [JA-SA-SA-RA-ME](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/JA-SA-SA-RA-ME/index.md>) (yaššaram): in righteousness (adverbial accusative in -am of √y-š-r; also 'righteously'); rival: substantivized "the upright/proper [thing]" in an object slot. Polysemic layer: masculine divine name Yasharam (Akk. Mīšarum, Phoen. Misor). Confirmed.
- [TA-NA-I-\*301-U-TI-NU](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/TA-NA-I-*301-U-TI-NU/index.md>) (tan-ʿinā-u-tī-n(u)): may you (f.) answer us (N-stem of √ʿ-n-y in the TA-NA-[X]-U-TI-NU frame: 2fs prefix + indicative -u + subject clitic -tī + 1cp object -n). Probable.
- [ZU-DI](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/ZU-DI/index.md>) (ṯudī): breast (√ṯ-d-y, PS *ṯad-); at IOZa6 first member of ZU-DI SI-KA (ṯudī-šiqā). Probable.
- [U-TI-NU](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/U-TI-NU/index.md>) (-u-tī-n(u)): verbal ending: indicative -u + 2fs -tī + -n(u) 'us'. Candidate.
- [I-NA-TA-I](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/I-NA-TA-I/index.md>) (ʿInatī): my Anat—theonym plus 1cs -ī; proposed "She Who Answers" (√ʿ-n-y). Candidate.
- [SI-KA (IOZa6)](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/SI-KA~20(IOZa6)/index.md>) (šiqā): Who Gives Drink (proposed second member of a divine epithet; participial/verbal noun of √š-q-y). Candidate.
- [I-NA-TA-I-ZU-DI-SI-KA](<https://linear-a.ai/lexicon/I-NA-TA-I-ZU-DI-SI-KA/index.md>) (ʿInatī ṯudī-šiqā): my Anat, Breast-Who-Gives-Drink—theonym plus compound divine epithet. Speculative.
