## Commentary

Fragmentary witness of positions 5–6 of the IO Za 2 formula on a square serpentine libation table. The text is written retrograde. The surface is broken before I-PI-NA-MA, while a divider follows SI-RU-TE and the continuation is lost. The normalized pair is secured by intact formulaic parallels, including IO Za 2 and KO Za 1. 'Sacred song' is the English rendering adopted for the proposed abstract noun šīrūt.
