## Notes

Proto-MSA \*rgm 'to cover' (SEDonline 1421). Hardly connected with PCS \*rgm 'to stone'; the Jibbali use for covering a dead body with stones reflects Arabic influence (Kogan 2015: 217–218 apud SEDonline 1421). Distinct from 3060 \*rgm (2) 'to stone' and 2647 \*rgm 'say, speak'.
