Commentary

HT 62 .2 (GORILA I 117): ][·]-NA GRA 15¼ KA-KU 7[, a recipient after a grain entry; the 7 is Pugliese Carratelli’s reading, four strokes now. Matches Amorite KAKK-U, ka-ak-ku (Gelb 1980, no. 3913), with the geminate unwritten. The same element stands first in KA-KU-NE-TE (ZA 10b). Rival: kakkum ‘weapon’ as a commodity, which the recipient slot does not favour. One attestation.
