Commentary

KN Wc 26, a roundel (CMS X 120): RU-JA Ruya on face a, NI-PI on face b, intact and undotted (GORILA II 85); Younger enters face b in the logogram column. The thing received against the receiver. nīb ‘fruit’: Heb. nîb ‘fruit’ (Isa 57:19; HALOT 696); NI writes nī, PI the b. Rival: NI, the fig sign, with PI written beside it. Weak point: the Knossos findspot is queried (Søyen Collection, formerly Erlenmeyer; Ferrara, Montecchi and Valério 2022, 103–104). One attestation.
