Commentary

HT 12: QE-TU-NE · QA₂+[?]+PU 1, after QA-TI-DA-TE · OLE+DI 5 and *304 5, before E 30 and MA+RU · *118 5 (GORILA I 25). QE-TU-NE writes qaṭunē, *qaṭun- ‘small, thin’ with -ē: Heb. qāṭōn, qāṭān; Akk. qatnu ‘thin, fine’; Ug. qṭn. QE-TU (HT 41a) is the form without the ending. Ebla writes the name ga-da-ne beside ga-da-nu, ga-da-na (GlOS 1, 358); see QE-TU. Weak point: QE for qa. Rival: a heading or name over the QA₂ entry. One attestation.
