Commentary
IO Za 2, position 2 of the libation formula: vocative ya- before Diqqitu, the goddess of Dikte. Ugaritic dqt ‘female of small cattle for sacrifice’ is a divine name in a Ugaritic god-list (Astour 1966); Hesiod calls the mountain Aigaion oros, ‘Goat’s Mountain’. Palaikastro writes A-DI-KI-TE and JA-DI-KI-TE-TE (di Mino, Ya Diktu).
