Commentary
Fragmentary two-line inscription on two nonjoining pieces of one serpentine jar (HM 2479 + HM 2480). Every preserved sequence is edge-damaged. I-PI-NA-MA has substantial independent lexical support. The longer sequence, ]-KU-PA₃-NA-TU-NA-TE[ with a trace before KU (perhaps I), contains the independently attested Kupanatu base and additional morphology. The fragments do not permit reconstruction of a continuous sentence. Younger estimates six lost sign spaces in the first internal lacuna and three in the second; these are not readable signs.
Epigraphic note
Two-line inscription preserved on two nonjoining fragments of the same vessel. Line 2 ends I-NA-JA-RE-TA[ on HM 2479 and resumes ]QA · on HM 2480; no trace survives between them, so the loss is not measurable (Younger estimates three signs; GORILA IV 4–5).
