Commentary
GORILA I, p. 5 shows right-edge losses after 20, 3, and 54, and left-edge damage before KI-RE-TA-NA and OLE+A 47. The preserved oil numerals total at least 141. The isolated 1 follows a blank line and lacks a commodity sign; it is not an oil fraction or secure section subtotal. A-KA-RU probably denotes a farm or estate account: Ugaritic ugr and Akkadian ugāru support ‘field,’ while Akkadian ikkaru ‘farmer; farm bailiff,’ Hebrew ʾikkār, and Aramaic ʾakkārā supply an administrative rival. KI-RE-TA-NA remains plausibly ‘Kretan/Cretan,’ but its precise function and any export interpretation are unproved.
Epigraphic note
GORILA I, p. 5: the right edge is broken after OLE+U 20, OLE+E 3, and OLE+U 54; a possible sign trace survives at the second lacuna. The left edge is damaged before KI-RE-TA-NA and before OLE+A 47. The isolated 1 follows a vacat and has no commodity sign, so it is unassigned. The preserved oil numerals total at least 141; neither exact section totals nor a two-recipient redistribution are established.
