Commentary

GORILA I 314–15: every line breaks at the right edge, and lines .2 and .3 open with a dotted unit stroke. No word is complete.

Epigraphic note

Transcribed from GORILA I 314–15. Every line breaks at the right edge: .1 A-PA₃-[ (A and PA₃ dotted) with part of a third sign on the edge, .2 ]1̣ JA-KI-PA₃[ with a trace after PA₃ (GORILA: trace à droite), .3 ]1̣ A-RI-JA[ with JA on the break. Lines .2 and .3 open with a dotted unit stroke, not a divider. The drawing shows the left edge unbroken and bare clay before A on .1, and GORILA’s normalized text prints ] on every line.
