• Without HT11b (where *86 and the logogram KA are separate signs, *86 · KA 40): every cognate is a plain-n root; no word is spelled with both *86 and NA, and no environment contrasts them; Proto-Semitic has no emphatic nasal. With the reading hidden, na ranks first (0.795), ahead of ro (0.769) and da (0.767).

Speculative. A mostly standalone sign (16 of 24 tokens) whose syllabic value is undetermined: na leads ro and da by a hair (0.795, 0.769, 0.767), and NA (AB06) and *301 already write na. The emphatic ṇa stays an alternate; no test separates it from na. Syllabic witnesses are few: *86-SI-NI (HT140); *86-RO, *86 on face a and RO on face g of KHWa1013–1016, one scribe; RE-*86 (MILZb4), the second sign incomplete. In *86-SI-*118-KA (HT140) *86 lies in the break. The other tokens are standalone *86 with a numeral or the *86+*188 ligature. HT11b gives no co-occurrence proof: there *86 stands before the logogram KA and its numeral. Linear B *86 survives at 6 attestations, mostly in substrate toponyms, with no value.
