Kogan 2025, 4 takes Akk. diḳmu, diḳmennu as metathetic to Jewish Babylonian Aramaic ḳiṭmā (DJBA 1011), Syriac ḳeṭmā, Mandaic giṭma, and adds Arabic al-qatām- = al-ġubār- 'dust' (TA 33 225, with *ṭ > t by dissimilation); the Akkadian d- for the t- expected by Geers' Law is unexplained.
