Notes

HALOT 1083 takes qwṭ as a by-form of qwṣ 'to loathe' and reports Ugaritic qwṭ/qṭṭ read 'to feel loathing' by Aistleitner and 'to transgress' by Gordon. LGz. 455 relates the Geez to Hebrew qāṭ.
