Notes

Arabic qubbaʿa is a loan from Syriac (Fraenkel 54 apud HALOT 463). HALOT 463 calls the Hebrew a foreign word (k beside q) and compares, with ?, Hittite kupaḫ(ḫ)i 'headgear'.
