Notes

Lane 1086 files the Arabic under rsw (aor. yarsū); Leslau files Geez rsy, with rsw ʾarsawa beside it (LGz. 474–475). LGz. 475 cites Nöldeke against taking Arabic marsā as a Geez loanword, and keeps Syriac tarsī 'support, supply' apart.
