Notes

CAD Š/3 198 and T 286 read šugguru (OB, SB) and tašgirtu (SB, NB) with g; HALOT 1647–1648 sets them beside šqr as šuqq/gguru(m) and tašq/gertu(m), after AHw. 1282 and 1339. Arabic s/šuqar 'lie' is a loan from Aramaic (HALOT 1648). Not 1213 *šVḳVr- 'pierce' or 3030 *śVḳVr- 'look at'.
