Remarks
A pithoid jar from the Unexplored Mansion at Knossos, found in the LM II destruction deposit; the jar is LM I in type and the inscription probably LM IB (Popham 1976; Owens 1998–99). Two complete three-sign groups are incised on two lines, A-PA-KI over U-NA-A. The stand-in is an ovoid storage jar with a rolled rim, two horizontal lugs and a raised rope band, the text cut on the shoulder between the handles; its shape, decoration and size are its own. Generated stand-in, not a scan: the shape follows the published description, the sign layout is approximate.
