Commentary
ZA 15a .7 *364-KE-MA-SE 5, the last entry of the wine issue headed *47-KU-NA, after SA-MI-DA-E 4 (GORILA III 183). Intact, no dots. SigLA reads the first sign A364, the Zakros form of *324. At *324's value ṮA, ṯa-ke-ma writes ṯkm, PS *ṯVkm-; Shechem is Skmimi of the Execration Texts (Brussels E6; Streit 2017, 63). -SE as on RU-MA-TA-SE beside bare RU-MA-TA, and on MI-ZA-SE on the same face: town and gentilic, as Šǝkem and šikmî. Rivals: the Amorite name Šakim (ŠA-KI-MU-UM; Gelb 1980, no. 5804); at the rival value SO, so-ke-ma gives the same root.
