Attestations1 cited

  1. ZA 15a*47-KU-NA SA-VIN

Commentary

ZA 15a .1 *47-KU-NA SA-VIN, all four signs whole and undotted (GORILA III 183), heading a wine issue with libation portions (SI-PI-KI) and groats. With *47 = so: sōkina ‘prefect’, the vowels of the Canaanite gloss su₂-ki-na (EA 362), with the ō of the Canaanite shift. Rivals: mōgun- ‘regalement, gift’ with *47 = mo, /m-g-n/ ‘to wine and dine, regale’ (DULAT 525); Dagan with *47 = do (DULAT 265). One witness. See SI-KI-NE.
