Commentary

ARKH 2 .5–6 A-SU-PU-WA 4, the final WA over an erasure, an entry under the heading SI-DA-TE ṣēdat ‘provisions’, after ZU-*301-SE-DE-*21F-*118 6 (GORILA III 6–7). ʾa-su-pp-ū-a, the ʾăsuppîm ‘stores’ of 1 Chr 26:15, Akk. asuppu, a loan in Hebrew (HALOT 76). -PU-WA writes the glide before a final -a, as A-SI-SU-PO-A writes -PO-A (KH 9), and QA-RA₂-WA stands beside QE-RA₂-U. Rival: a personal designation in -uwa, since A-SI-SU-PO-A stands beside the person sign VIR+*307. One witness. See A-SI-SU-PO-A.
