Commentary
HT 6b WA-DU-NI-MI 3 + fractions, first line of the verso; HT 85b WA-DU-NI-MI 1, ninth of eleven entries of one unit each, the others names or places (Scribe 9). WA- is wa- ‘and’, allomorph of U; list entries otherwise carry no conjunction. The initial ʾa- is absorbed after the particle, as in Amorite LA-DU-NIM la-ʾadun-im (Gelb 1980, no. 4246). -NI-MI is the genitive singular -im or the plural -īm, which the script does not distinguish. With no DO sign, ʾadun- and ʾadōn- both write DU. HT 127a DU-NE-MI, whole at the head of its line, is a separate name, ḏū-naʿmi. Two attestations. Cf. A-DU-NI-TA-NA (ARKH 5), ʾadun-nittan ‘the lord gave’. See DU-NE-MI.
