Commentary

HT 87 and HT 117b, two lists headed *21F-TU-NE, each count DI-KI-SE 1: on HT 87 between JA-RE-MI 1 and QE-SU-PU 1, on HT 117b after KU-RE-JU 1. Hurrian tagi ‘beautiful’ and the theme tagiše/tegiše ‘beautiful, beauty’, written t/da-a-ki-ši and ta-(a)-ki-(e)-še (Laroche 1980, 249–50), under stop and sibilant neutralization; Tagi is a Hurrian personal name in EA 264–66. DI writes the e of tegiše by the Hurrian e/i convention (Laroche 1980, 23). Weak point: no name Tegiše is attested; the held name is Tagi.
