Commentary

PK Za 11, in U-NA-RU-KA-NA-TI. kanasti ‘you (f.) gathered’, the 2fs suffix form of √k-n-s, with the s unwritten before t, as Linear B omits s before a stop (pa-ka-na phasgana) and PA-I-TO writes Phaistos (Ventris and Chadwick 1956, 45, 80); after RU lū it reads ‘may you gather!’ (di Mino, Ya Diktu). Rivals: a feminine collective kanast ‘assembly’, with final I a support vowel, as later Hebrew kəneset and Aramaic and Syriac knuštā; TI as -tī, qānastī ‘I gathered’ (Eccl 2:8); √k-n-š, see U-NA-KA-NA-SI. One attestation.
