Commentary
HT Zd 155 and HT Zd 157, each time right before A319 with no divider before MA; the cut rests on the ending the two graffiti share (Duhoux 1978, §29 A6). Heb. mattat ‘gift’ < *mattant, Ph. mtt (HALOT 656). MA-TI-TI writes the i-grade *mattint- > mattitt-, the final TI a dead vowel. WI-JA-SU on HT Zd 157 names the recipient. The rival √š-m-ṭ ‘release’ parse needs TI-TI to write a geminate. See NA-TU-*301-NE.
