Commentary

HT 41a .4 MI-DA-NI · PA-JA 2 and two fraction signs, both signs whole and undotted, the last line of the face (GORILA I 79). Egyptian Pꜣjj is a common name, borne under Thutmose III and Amenhotep II among others (PNM v6, s.v. pꜣjj); PA-JA-RE (HT 8b, 29, 88, ZA 10b) reads Pꜣjj-Rꜥ with the same JA. Egyptian two-consonant names are many, so the match rests on the identity with PA-JA-RE. Rival: a Semitic hypocoristic. Two signs; one attestation.
