Commentary

PE 2, among fractional entries: A-RI-PA ¼, QA-QA-DA ½, TO-ME ⅓. QA-QA-DA writes qaqqada, the geminate unmarked, as QA-QA-RU qaqqaru. Akk. qaqqadu ‘head; original amount, principal’ (CAD Q 100, 109). Rival: a personal name, as on the neighbouring entries: Qaqqadum (Old Babylonian, ORACC rimanum), Amorite qa-aq-qa-da-an, Ebla ga-ga-da-nu (GlOS 1, 340). One attestation.
