Commentary

PO Zc 1, inked: RI-QE-TI-A-SA-SA-RA-[·]. riqitt- ‘dance’: Akk. riqittu ‘dance’ (ri-qi-it-tum; CAD R 367), from √r-q-d with the d assimilated to t; QE writes qi. The same root gives raqqittu ‘female dancer’ (raq-qit-tum; CAD R 171, s.v. raqqidu), with RI for ra. The pair matches U-QE-TI · JA-SA-SA-RA-ME on PL Zf 1, a -QE-TI word before the Asasara name. Rival: RI- + QE-TI, the element of HT 7a. Weak point: the cut before A-SA-SA-RA is the reader’s, with no divider. One attestation.
