Commentary
HT 115a .3 SE-KU-TU ½, between NA-*21F-NE-MI-NA 1 and PA-RA-NE 1, a recipient (GORILA I 188–189). šakūt-u, a qatūl adjective of √š-k-t ‘be quiet, rest’ (PS *škt), on primary values: Hebrew hasket ‘be quiet’ (Deut 27:9; HALOT 756), Akkadian sakātu ‘be silent’ (CAD S 74). Rival: Zakūtu ‘pure, innocent’, the Ebla name za-ku-tu (Pagan 1998, row 5026) and the Neo-Assyrian queen Zakūtu, which needs SE for ḏ where the lexicon writes z with the Z signs. One witness.
