Commentary

HT Wa 1021, a nodule: *188-DU · ¾ · SI+SE-RA+KA, a commodity, a fraction and a word. With SI+SE as še, SI+SE-RA+KA writes šeraka: Akk. širku ‘gift; a tax’, levied at Ugarit with a town’s tithe and toll (CAD Š/3 111), and širiktu, also šeriktu, ‘grant, gift’ (CAD Š/3 103), of šarāku ‘to dedicate, to give’. RA+KA read in sign order, as MI+*301 minā. Weak point: SI+SE for še. Rival: a personal name, the official of the sealing. One attestation.
