Commentary

HT 1 .2 ZU-SU 70, whole and undotted, the second entry under QE-RA₂-U, after KI-RO 197 and before DỊ-DI-ZA-KE 52 (GORILA I 3). The personal name zu-zu at Ebla, read ṣūṣu ‘chicken’ (Pagan 1998, row 5285), and at Late Bronze Ugarit (RSO 7, 3, lower edge 3; ORACC P347841). SU writes ṣ as usual, ZU as ZA does in TU-MI-TI-ZA-SE. Rivals: an opaque Zuzu, with SU for z; an institutional name in the same quantified slot. One document.
