Commentary

Substantially intact LM IB administrative roster; no commodity logogram is present. KI-RO 197 is not a total: the four following quantities sum to 336. QE-RA₂-U /qelwu/ ‘parched grain’ heads the list, as it closes the HT95a/b grain set. ZU-SU compares with the Late Bronze Age Ugaritic personal name {m}zu-zu (RSO 7, 3, lower edge 3; ORACC P347841), though SU/ZU remains unexplained. DI-DI-ZA-KE has no secure external analysis. KU-PA₃-NU is Kubānu ‘devotee of Kubaba’, masculine of KU-PA₃-NA-TU Kubānatu (di Mino, Ya Diktu); the rival compares Ugaritic syllabic {m}gu-pa-na (RS 11.839 r.8; ORACC P503288), alphabetic Gupan, and Linear B ku-pa-nu-we-to. A-RA-NA-RE is the Hurrian name Ugaritic ålnr, which DULAT sets beside Linear B a-ra-na-ro (DULAT 57; KN As 1516.11); Gordon’s Egyptian ‘Great-is-the-name-of-Re’ is the rival.

Epigraphic note

HT1 is a substantially intact LM IB administrative roster; edge wear does not require restoration. No commodity logogram is present. KI-RO 197 is an outstanding or deficit amount, not the total of the four following quantities, which sum to 336. QE-RA₂-U remains an untranslated administrative category. ZU-SU, DI-DI-ZA-KE, KU-PA₃-NU, and A-RA-NA-RE occupy quantified name or entity slots.
