Commentary
ZA 4a, a roster entry of 4 before JA-PA. ʿAttiru: ʿAṯtar with ṯt > tt, as Amorite [A]t-ta-ri-ša-du-u[q] (Huffmon 1965, 173), or the nisbe ʿAttirī ‘man of ʿAṯtar’, which the roster slot favours; geminate unwritten, ʿayin on the plain vowel sign. Not ʿAštar: the ṯ > š merger is later. Rival: ʿatīru ‘entreated’ (√ʿ-t-r).
