Commentary

The Amarna toponym usu (EA 121) can name a roster person by origin: HT117b labels personnel by gentilic (DI-KI-SE ‘the Diktaian’), and U-DI-MI (ʾUdmī, man of Udum) sits on the same face. A worker from Ušu.
