Commentary
Inter-entity transfer list with an unspecified commodity and unresolved direction. The arithmetic is exact: 45½ + 20½ + 29 = 95. Repeated final TI defines a shared administrative or morphological class. The DA-KU-SE-NE / DA-KU-SE-NE-TI pair favors suffixation, while GORILA I 171 allows TI to be an ideogram or classifier. Finkelberg (2002/03, 96–97) proposes a dative/recipient interpretation, ‘for/to’; HT104 does not establish an ablative ‘from.’
Epigraphic note
GORILA I 170–171; LM IB clay tablet from Casa Room 7, written by HT Scribe 5. HT104 is best classified as an inter-entity transfer list: TA-PA is the unidentified header entity, *505/A505 is a hapax transaction sign, and the commodity and direction of transfer are unexpressed. The upper-right edge is chipped, but the current sign-level transcription records no lost sign after A505. DA-KU-SE-NE-TI probably contains the Hurrian-style name Takušenni; bare DA-KU-SE-NE occurs twice on HT103. Repeated final TI may be a suffix or classifier. GORILA allowed an ideographic interpretation, while Finkelberg proposed a dative/recipient function; HT104 does not establish an ablative. I-DU-TI and PA-DA-SU-TI remain unidentified entities. I-DU-TI is not securely Ida, which is written I-DA-A at KOZa1; a Semitic onomastic base /Yidu/ ‘strength’ is possible but unproved. The quantities total exactly: 45½ + 20½ + 29 = 95.
