Commentary
TU-RU-SA occupies the formula’s variable invocation slot and is therefore treated as a vocative addressee, not a dedicant. Preferred parse: DU-*314-RE is a word-specific variant of DU-PU₂-RE /dubur/ ‘sanctuary’ (PKZa15; HTZb160; Facchetti 1999, 132; Davis 2013, 44 n. 46; Thomas 2020, 8). I-DA-A is the diptotic genitive ʾIda, ‘of Ida’; cf. Ugaritic /ḥāmiyātu ʾugarita/ ‘the walls of Ugarit’ (Huehnergard 2012, §IV.B.3, p. 40). U-NA is provisionally /wannā/, comparing Ugaritic w hn ~ wn and *wa-hanna/u; its exact vowels remain reconstructed. ‘Toward Ida’ remains an alternative.
Epigraphic note
LM IB stone libation vessel from the Kophinas peak sanctuary. TU-RU-SA occupies the variable invocation slot after A-TA-I-*301-WA-JA, parallel to the invoked referents at Iouktas and Troullos; so it is read as a vocative addressee rather than a dedicant. DU-*314-RE I-DA-A is tentatively parsed as dubur ʾIda, ‘the sanctuary of Ida.’ U-NA-KA-NA-SI is read with the contracted presentative /wannā/, from *wa-hanna/u > Ugaritic wn; the exact vowels remain reconstructed.
