Commentary
Context: MM III clay tablet, two lines: .1 I-NA-[?]-TE, one word with a sign lost after NA, above a ruling; .2 TA-NA-MA-JE alone below it (Younger; SigLA runs I-NA-TE). The earlier division I-NA 𐄁 TE 𐄁 TA-NA-MA-JE is superseded. Recorded twice in lineara.xyz, as PE 6 and as a ‘stone object’ PE Zg 6; the two drawings are one tablet. MM III date makes Tanʿamay an early attestation of the √n-ʿ-m name family (Ug. nʿmy, nʿmn; Heb. Naʿamah, Naʿaman, Noʿomī, Abinoam).
