Commentary
Fragmentary libation table. Sides b–d contain substantial losses; restorations are formula-guided and remain bracketed. SI and RA-ME belong to separate damaged groups, plausibly SI-RU-[TE] and [A-SA-SA]-RA-ME. The diplomatic U-NA-RU-KA-[?]-JA-SI is normalized as U-NA-RU-KA-[NA]-(JA)-SI: the paradigm predicts KA-NA-SI, while JA is retained as a probable scribal intrusion. The damaged coda cannot securely yield ‘the servant who is appointed’; only final JA-PA-QA is complete enough for a lexical candidate.
Epigraphic note
Round serpentine libation table (HM 942), probably from Petsophas; heavily damaged across sides b–d. Side d as Younger reads it: A-PA-DU-PA-[3?]JA[2?]JA-, the last JA at the edge, PA below it (d2), QA round the corner on side a (a2); no divider is visible before the final JA-PA-QA. GORILA IV 35–38. Diplomatic sequence by side: a A-TA-I-*301-WA-JA · A-DI-KI-TE-[; b ]SI-[…]RA-ME[; c ]A-[…]-NE · U-NA-RU-KA-[?]-JA-SI ·; d–a A-PA-DU-PA-[…]-JA-[…]-JA-PA-QA. Traces after KA are compatible with NA (GORILA IV 38), and equally with NI (Soldani 2012, 221–22 n. 129). JA is legible. SI and RA-ME are separate fragments, not one word.
