Commentary
Fragment of a terracotta zoomorphic rhyton (?) from the Syme sanctuary (Muhly and Olivier 2008, 210–11, fig. 9). Six positions, broken after the sixth. The four-sign RA-KI-NI-SE omits the fourth sign and does not support la-kinnisēt.
Epigraphic note
Fragment of a terracotta zoomorphic rhyton (?), engraved before firing (Muhly and Olivier 2008, 210–11, fig. 9). The edition reads •-60-67-•-30-09[: only the foot of the first sign’s upright survives (01, 08, 13 or 31), with no sign lost to the left. The fourth is perhaps *79 over *54, itself over *57. Broken after SE. Earlier transcriptions omit the fourth sign and read RA-KI-NI-SE.
